So the internet in Dakar (and therefore most of Senegal) was on the fritz for a couple of days. The signals were strong, but it would never connect. Little did we know that the cable in the ocean was BROKEN and that it would take forever and a year for the internet people to fix it.
But somehow they managed to set things straight and now our lives can go on as they normally do. Because let’s face it, life in the 21st century is wrapped up in the internet and instant communication. Sad reality.
That being said, here’s the picture of Aminata Sow Fall and me that I couldn’t upload with my post about my interview with her. Big file, horrible internet connection.
